The person needs some compensation for all this as it affects the overall finances of the person involved in child support.

According to the Child support laws in Australia, the child is a responsibility of both the parents. Both the parents should be involved in child care matters. In case of divorce, the residential parent should get child support from the non residential parent. Usually, the child custody is with the mothers and very rarely it is the father who gets the child custody. In case, there are any parenting issues, the court addresses them and a paternity test can be done. The courts give orders in this regard to the father. After the paternity is confirmed, it is the duty of the father to pay child support to the mother of his child.
